Jet Thunder (working title) is a project to create a realistic flight simulator based in the air war in the South Atlantic, in 1982 - the Falklands/Malvinas conflict. It's being developed by a group of military aviation enthusiasts, mainly based in South America. As we're getting organized as a development studio, under the name Thunderworks,

Fleet Command
Fleet Command is a real time naval strategy game from Sonalysts, creators of 688(I) Hunter/Killer. Sonalysts brings a tremendous amount of expertise to the table--retired admirals and captains share credit with hardcore programmers to fine tune the balance between realism and gameplay. War is hell and so is trying to satisfy the demands of the expert sim player and the casual gamer alike. Fleet Command strives to get a lock on the realistic/playable/programmable target, something that could render a linear programming model paradoxical. The initial buzz on the news groups was that Jane's left out some ordnance load-out possibilities, or they flubbed some other aspect of the game. Truth is, who would know better than Sonalysts/Jane's the accuracy and technical details of military hardware. If they limited or omitted things, it must be assumed it was to enhance playability.

Aerodynamics
is an engineering science concerned with the interaction between bodies and the atmosphere. Technological applications include: General aviation (commercial, cargo, and business aircraft); V/STOL vehicles (helicopters, some military aircraft, tilt rotors); lighter-than-air vehicles (airships, balloons, aerostats); aerodynamic decelerators (parachutes, thrust reversal devices); road vehicles (passenger and racing cars, commercial vehicles, high speed trains); spacecraft, missiles and rockets, low- to high-speed flight (micro air vehicles to hypersonic wave riders), high altitude flight, human powered flight, unmanned flight, gliders, energy conversion systems (wind and gas turbines); propulsion systems (propellers, jet engines, gas turbines).
