Dear FC,
well, I'm not in deep the U.K. law system, so I can't understand if an American judge's pronounce could have effect in your Country. I could assume, though, that that situation will change in better for the American customers, or the American financial system will break down within a few months.
According to the recent news introduced into the Italian law system, and telling it in a few words, the customers have the right to sue the bankers to get new loan conditions.
Time will tell, as usual.
